People Feeding People Weekly Newsletter

Feed the People Feed the Land!

Happy Monday!

We hope this week is off to a great start! We are back with our weekly E-Newsletter. This newsletter will keep you informed about the work we are up to and how you can get involved! We will also be sharing educational information about the importance of this work and the power we can build if we are able to organize people and organize resources.

Thank you once again for your support of our free mobile grocery distribution program. Your support means so much to us and the Akron Community! This work is only made possible by the support of people like you. Check out our 2024 Impact Report, you helped make this possible!

We are always in need of volunteers at our distributions. We have distributions every other Wednesday. Volunteers can come and help set-up, pass out groceries, and/or clean up. We begin setup for every distribution at 3:30pm and we start passing out the groceries at 5:30pm

You can sign up to volunteer using the link below!

We are working to take our mobile grocery distribution program to the next level by opening up Akron’s first FREE GROCERY STORE! This vision has been inspired by the hands-on work of our program over the past year and a half, as well as other communities who has started similar projects.

Below is a video about The Grocery Spot, Atlanta’s Free Grocery Store. Check out the work they do and the impact it has had on the community.
