Happy Tuesday!

We hope this week is off to a great start! Thank you once again for your support of our free mobile grocery distribution program. Your support means so much to us and the Akron Community! This work is only made possible by the support of people like you.

Currently we have two types of volunteer opportunities:

1. We are always in need of volunteers at our distributions. We have distributions every other Wednesday. Our next distribution is Tomorrow August 28th! Volunteers can come and help set-up, pass our groceries, and/or clean up. We begin setup every distribution at 3:30pm

2. We could always use help making calls to our distribution lists. This can be done remotely! If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please send an email to [email protected] and someone from our team will be in touch with you!

You know what time it is, it’s distribution week! This week we will be on the West Side of Akron at the James R. Williams Tower (285 Channelwood Cir. 44307) on Wednesday August 28th. As always, the distribution will begin at 5:30pm, but if you would like to volunteer, please arrive any time after 3:30pm.

Volunteers are needed! Please come early to help!

This work belongs to the lineage of the struggle for Freedom and Liberation. We are looking to build POWER! With all the advancement in technology and surplus of resources, there is no reason why grocery prices are so high or why people find themselves hungry. This program seeks to meet the need of our community, build awareness of the conditions that cause the need, and build power to change those conditions!
